Restaurants

The Embankment, Bedford - a great newly renovated gastro pub by the river in Bedford with 'nice rooms' (their own words) and a great atmosphere.  What better way to finish off a day by the Ouse?

The Flying Horse, Clophill - a beautifully renovated dining pub off the A6 between Luton & Bedford, that's well worth getting a taxi to. The Baileys Cheesecake is to die for. Tell Ross we sent you! 

Eat Fish!, Bedford - not just because it's the only restaurant locally that we know of that has an exclamation mark in it's name.  Sample some of the best seafood you can find in a lovely location by Russell Park and the river.

Pubs

The Bedford Arms, Bedford - our next door neighbours are a speciality beer house, offering brews from the local Wells & Young Brewery here in Bedford, as well as guest ales and foreign beers.
